Promoting the careers of young trainees and raising awareness for international cooperation
The trainee programm (JPO programme)of the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC) was evaluated in 2009.
Following this evaluation, the directorate of the SDC decided to adapt the recruitment of young professionals to future needs and challenges in international cooperation. In future the SDC will advertise its posts for young professionals in an effort to recruit suitable specialists in a targeted fashion.
