Our human resource policy

The SDC’s human resource policy is based on institutional targets and core activities. Effective implementation requires capable and motivated employees. The SDC trains its employees, encourages linguistic diversity, promotes equal opportunities for both men and women, offers flexible working schedules and good career development prospects.

 The SDC’s HR strategy
The SDC has developed its own human resources policy based on the Agency's guidelines and organizational strategy. "Vamos!" embodies the process of change designed to support implementation of the SDC’s Strategy 2010.

Efforts to nurture multilinguism are designed to secure appropriate representation of Switzerland’s four linguistic communities at all levels of responsibility and in all departments. The full benefit of cultural diversity can be felt only when all language groups are involved in policy-shaping and decision-making processes.
